2D-to-3D Standard Process
About SASM
Beveled channel letter
This process combines frontal acrylic with metal beveled edges.
Common applications:
The front is transparent, and the edges are refracted through the beveled facet, giving it a three-dimensional sense.
The front and beveled edges transmit light at the same time, making the glyph layers more distinct.
Full process production process:
Step 1: Import the 2D file or enter the text.
Step 2: Adjust the parameters to generate the model (configurable parameters include: wall thickness, base thickness, overall letter height, letter thickness, the angle
of the beveled edge and the height of the straight edge.).
Step 3: Export STL and PLT files.
Step 4: Slice (select template).
Step 5: Print and cut the acrylic.
Step 6: Assemble.
